Skate
We approached the world of active seating
in 2016 with “On” collection.
The innovative stool that in its seat encloses
an oscillation system able of activate
the muscles and the balance of the user.
Strong was the suggestion to sit as on a cloud,
where small natural settlements
favor micro movements while
the person balances on the seat.
This idea was followed by the natural need
to add a backrest.
This is why Skate was born.
It often happens that the idea
always comes only after a lot of
work and study,
almost never for an immediate intuition.
Sometimes it is also born outside the office.
Also in this case the inspiration came by
observing some guys trying evolutions,
movements and the stress to which
the boards were submitted
while they stay in balance.
The heart of the project is enclosed in the j-bar,
which deliberately remembers the shape of the skateboards,
whose conformation allows the movement of the back in all directions.
Absolute freedom, seat and back have separate but complementary movements.
Two ways of use: more or less softness.
Skate is a new concept of seating,
which totally follows the body of those who use it,
and that allows freedom of all movements,
without having any kind of limitation anymore.
Our goal is not the perfection but the completeness.
Skate sign a path that goes beyond all barriers
without preconceptions, without limits.
