Kupp
We ask a lot from a chair:
a meaning,
an emotion, an intention.
A project for a chair that takes little space,
but which runs fast
to go towards new horizons.
We are animated by a great curiosity,
we have to explore multiple alternatives
and different unknown points of view.
We do not think that
the functional aspects
are more important
than the formal ones,
but that beauty is intrinsic
to the concreteness of the solutions
and is immediately legible
even for those
who do not design chairs.
Even with the Kupp project
we started with various rough projects,
up to the final project
after a long work of refinement,
of subtraction,
arriving to do what is necessary,
therefore essential.
